About Us

Pavilion Clothing began in 1986. We are an independent retailer that has traded in Cardiff city centre for over twenty years. Our very first shop was in the High Street Arcade, after a few years of successful trading it was obvious to us that we were going to need a bigger boat… well shop! Following a search of the city centre, we found our current home of 3 Wharton Street and we’ve been pretty happy there ever since.

Over the last twenty years, we’ve seen a lot of change, both in the clothes we sell and in the city centre itself. Cardiff has moved from being a relatively unknown city, (despite being the capital of Wales!!?), to a popular University City and a great weekend destination for; shopping, concerts, international sport and entertainment. With so much development and expansion affecting Cardiff, we’ve definitely noticed changes in taste and demand and we’ve always enjoyed the challenges that this development has brought us. (It definitely keeps you on your toes when all around you is shifting/updating and altering!)

Pavilion’s success lies in the management team’s belief in embracing change, which in turn inspires the professional staff team with an enthusiasm and passion for retail that has seen Pavilion confirm its place as the destination store for design conscious men and women.

Throughout the year, we attend national and international fashion trade shows and events and, by sourcing premium labels and offering excellent customer service, we aim to provide all our customers with an inspiring alternative shopping experience.

With the launch of our fully transactional website we want to offer the same high level of customer service to both existing and new customers.
